This just proved to everyone that they were wrong about Humanity-less Elena was Katherine 2.0. Elena turned off her emotions because she wasn’t strong enough to deal with knowing all of the horrible that happened. But Katherine did, and she never turned it off. She deals with it. That’s the difference between Katherine and Elena, Katherine knows she does horrible things and she accepts it, Elena doesn’t. Elena is not Katherine. And she never will be. They’re two complete separate characters, and now with Elena’s humanity back we can finally drop the whole Katherine 2.O thing, because honestly it was just a false statement that was really getting on my nerves. I’m happy Katherine proved to everyone that they were wrong, besides why would Elena want to be like Katherine anyway? She hates her.
